Friday and Saturday Events
Join us for a Friday cocktail hour at Riverwalk from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM! Enjoy no-host drinks and appetizers.
Attire is nice-casual.
How about golf on Saturday at Riverwalk? The cost is $105 per person, which includes green fees and a shared golf cart for two. If you're interested in playing, email us at GHS1975@cox.net to reserve your spot!
How does a trip back to school sound? Meet us for a Grossmont Museum tour on Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00 pm. Discover the many changes to the campus – if it's been a while since you've visited, you're in for a surprise!
Sunday with the Padres
Finish out the weekend with some Sunday fun cheering on the Padres! We have a block of 25 seats available on a first-come, first-served basis. Game time is 1:10pm

Room Blocks
There are several Hotels in the area of Riverwalk Golf Club. The closest hotel is the Town and Country, but we were unable to secure a rate for our out-of-town classmates where we did not have to guarantee a minimum room block and pay a retainer fee. So, phooey on them.
Our Event Coordinator was able to assist with hotels that would work with us, Marriott and Double Tree. Here is the list of hotels to check out.
Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Mission Valley / Hotel Circle – Group Rate $179 standard room per night, $15 parking per night. Tell them you are with Grossmont High Class of 1975 Reunion.
Double Tree by Hilton Hotel San Diego / Hotel Circle – Rate $233 standard room, rate may vary by room choice. Use Corporate #0003455536

Also, take a look to see if you get a better rate through AAA, or AARP or through a booking site such as booking.com or tripadvisor.com. The green circle – golfer is the location of Saturday night’s event. Hotels are mostly on the opposite side of the freeway. You can do a map search on Hotels in Mission Valley. Pricing shown on map is not reflective of our September 13th date.

Town and Country Resort (across from Riverwalk), Best Western Seven Seas, Super 8 by Wyndham, Days Inn by Wyndham, Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Legacy Resort Hotel & Spa, Atwood Hotel. When searching these sites make sure you are looking at the Mission Valley or Hotel Circle locations.
